To connect your Windows Phone 8 to a Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:

1. Swipe to the left to open the list of apps.

2. Scroll down the list of apps and select Settings 

3. Select Wi-Fi.

4. Check that Wi-Fi Networking is enabled. If Wi-Fi is off, you can switch it on by pressing the on/off icon.

5. Select your network. The Network name (SSID, SSID1) can be found on the bottom of the router and in the Network Login Details flyer that may have been supplied with it. 

6. Enter the password. The WPA2 password can be found on the bottom of the router and in the Network Login Details flyer that may have been supplied with it.

7. Click on Done.

Done! You have connected your Windows Phone 8 to your wireless network.
